Sales Executive – IT Solutions & Managed Services: Moorestown, NJ

Location: Moorestown, NJ | Salary: Starting at $65,000 base + uncapped commission
Type: Full-Time | Travel: Local travel required

We're seeking a results-driven Sales Executive with a background in HR/Payroll solutions to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to transition into the fast-paced world of IT, selling cutting-edge solutions like cybersecurity, compliance, and managed services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, social selling (particularly LinkedIn), and networking at industry events
  • Client Engagement: Conduct discovery meetings to understand client needs and present tailored IT solutions, including managed services, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity
  • Sales Process Management: Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing, ensuring accurate CRM records using Salesforce
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, relationship management, and project delivery, to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction
  • Cross-Selling: Leverage existing relationships to cross-sell IT services to clients.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years in Managed IT Services or IT consulting sales, with a proven track record in business development and meeting large quotas
  • Background: Previous experience in HR/Payroll or HCM sales is strongly preferred
  • Skills: Proficiency in crafting compelling email campaigns, initiating contact through cold calling, and utilizing social media platforms for lead generation
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools
  • Travel: Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally as needed

Performance Metrics

  • Sales Activities: Number of new MRR appointments gained and attended
  • Quota Attainment: Achievement of Managed and Project Services sales quotas
  • Client Retention: Contribution to client satisfaction and long-term relationships
  • Collaboration: Effective coordination with internal teams to deliver client solutions
