Lead Development Representative (Inside Sales)


Overview

We are seeking a Lead Development Representative (Inside Sales) to be responsible for conducting strategic business development efforts with the objective of introducing/positioning PCS services to key IT decision-makers (VP, C-Level Execs) to create qualified leads. IT Consultant


Desired Skills and Experience

The major operating systems we support are Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server (2008, 2012) and we offer support for Mac OS X/Unix/Linux so those skills are a plus.

We also work with Cisco products, SonicWall, and a variety of NAS/SAN solutions. We work with a variety of backup software solutions including Veeam and ShadowProtect.

  • Candidate should feel comfortable taking live customer calls and troubleshooting/problem solving on the fly.
  • Candidate should have the ability to work with customers at their location as needed with supervision and should be able to represent PCS in a professional manner.
  • Candidate should have excellent teamwork skills and be able to work in a fast paced, fun environment that promotes working together and learning.
  • All candidates are expected to go above and beyond in providing outstanding service to our customers.
  • Some entry level certifications will be required to remain in good standing.
  • Project Implementation work will be assigned as necessary to encourage learning new skills and developing customer service expertise.

Senior IT Consultant

  • Candidate should work to develop a specialist categorization such as Windows 8, Mac OS X, DNS, Routing and Switching, etc.
  • Candidate should have excellent teamwork skills and be able to work in a fast paced, fun environment that promotes working together and learning.

Project Manager


Position Summary

The IT Project Manager provides overall leadership for Information Technology projects, oversees software, hardware, and services selection, implementation and upgrades, and drives continuous improvement to business processes. The IT Project Manager is responsible for partnering with our project team, team leads and customers.

Essential Functions/Primary Responsibilities
  • This is a position of influence, negotiation and expectation management
  • Maintains complete autonomy for the management of projects to meet the needs of the business and clients
  • Works on highly complex business issues that have significant impact to the enterprise, and across enterprise processes and functions for our clients
  • Maintains and controls project budgets, schedules, and resources
  • Responsible for projects, including project planning, resource and allocation
  • Responsible for project communications
  • Manages project scope, risk and issue resolution
  • Responsible for the quality of project deliverables
  • Responsible for ensuring the projects can deliver the benefits outlined in the business case
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field; or equivalent work experience
  • 5-7 years of IT and business/industry work
  • 2-5 years of project management experience with increasing complexity of size and scope
  • Certification from recognized authority (e.g. project management professional (PMP) preferred
Knowledge/Skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent project management skills, with demonstrated track record
  • Problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills to effectively manage project stakeholders – internal and external
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented personality
  • Experienced in facilitating and negotiating
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast paced, always changing environment
